Highs, Lows, and the In-between

My senior collection explores the concept that life is a constant negotiation between highs and lows, and that progress is never linear. Drawing from personal experiences with mental health and emotional extremes, I aim to create jewelry that captures the beauty of contrast and the tension that exists within growth. The core design challenge I address is how to visually and materially express emotional balance through structure, color, and form-without relying on traditional notions of symmetry or perfection.
The collection consists of a series of jewelry pieces-primarily rings, earrings, and pendants-created uses teets these techniques is me to mimi the highs and on of emotion those sistic
rhythm and material contrast. Enamel is used innovatively, sometimes layered over stones or applied to prongs, bringing unexpected color and depth to each piece.
Through this collection, I want to spark a conversation about emotional honesty, resilience, and the nonlinear nature of healing and growth. My work encourages the viewer to find beauty in tension, in movement, and in imperfection-offering not just adornment, but a quiet reminder that balance often comes from the spaces between joy and struggle.
